Graphene oxide paper

Graphene oxide paper

Graphene Oxide Paper is a composite material with stiffness and strength superior to all other materials Fact|date=May 2008, with the exception of diamond.

The paper is fabricated from graphene oxide. It stacks well in layers, which may be able to be chemically bondedFact|date=May 2008, leading to the development of additional new materials. As a result of the oxidation of the graphene sheets used in fabrication, it is an electrical insulatorFact|date=May 2008; however, it may be possible to tune this property, making the paper a conductor or semiconductor, without sacrificing its mechanical properties Fact|date=May 2008.
