Alice Burdeu (born 27 January 1988, in Melbourne, Victoria) is an Australian model, who won the third cycle of the reality television show "Australia's Next Top Model".

"Australia's Next Top Model"

Burdeu first came to the spotlight as one of the contestants on "Australia's Next Top Model, Cycle 3". During her time on the show, Burdeu's height and looks immediately caught the eye of the judges. Some of the judges and fellow competitors believed that she had a high-maintenance attitude, in that she voiced her complaints a few times. In addition, she received harsh criticism concerning her low body mass index. However, Burdeu's portfolio and runway walk proved to be impressive. Ultimately, she was chosen by both the judges and viewers of the show as the winner.

Burdeu's prizes as the winner included a one-year deal with model agency Priscilla's Model Management, a contract as the face of "Napoleon Perdis" including an international photo shoot, appeared on the cover and was in an eight-page fashion feature in "Vogue Australia" (September 2007 issue), a trip to New York, and a Ford Fiesta XR4. During the second last episode of "Australia's Next Top Model, Cycle 4", Burdeu made a cameo appearance while the series was on location in New York City, in which she gave her opinion of what she thought about the final three girls left in the competition. In the finale of the fourth series, Alice announced during a live cross from Paris, the winner of the series.

Career

Burdeu recently signed to Elite Model Management in New York City, with Mannequin Studio in Singapore, with Why Not Model Agency in Milan, which led her to having shows at the "Milan Fashion Week", with Silent Models in Paris and had also signed a contract with Models 1 in London. Since winning "Australia's Next Top Model", Burdeu had appeared in an ad campaign for Melbourne brand "Green with Envy". Whilst in New York, as part of her "Australia's Next Top Model" prize, Burdeu was signed by Elite Model Management, which led to a variety of runway shows in "New York Fashion Week" Fall 2008, which included Catherine Holstein, ThreeasFour, Rachel Comey, Charlotte Ronson, Lyell, Proenza Schouler, Koi Swannagate, Tory Burch, Shipley & Halmos, Marchesa, Marc Jacobs, Rad Hourani, and Willow. Personal life

Burdeu had stated during "Australia's Next Top Model" that she would like to continue on with her education and go to university. However, because she is in such high demand, she has decided to postpone any plans for further education. She is friends with fellow Australian models Abbey Lee, Allegra Carpenter, Jordan Loukas and Vanessa Milde, as well as American model Courtney Smerski. She is currently dating Brisbane socialite Todd Hunter.
