The Scorpions (Manchester band)

The Scorpions were a beat group, originally from Manchester in England, but they have become popular notably in the Netherlands. They should not be confused with the hard rock band Scorpions from Germany. The most important hit of The Scorpions was "Hello Josephine", a song written by Fats Domino.

* The Lead Singer Peter Lewis died in the morning of Wednesday, 2nd January 1985 (he was only 41) under the care of Dr Shipman. He had cancer of the stomach.
