Romans-sur-Isère is located on the
Isère River , 18 km northeast from Valence. With the neighboring town ofBourg-de-Péage , there are more than 50,000 inhabitants in the urban area.Romans is not far from the Vercors; it takes only 20 minutes by car.

Transportation
Access to the town is easy by the highway between Valence and
Grenoble which is free between Valence and Romans, and also by theTGV (high-speed train). There's a TGV station between Valence and Romans, and so it takes at least two hours and twelve minutes to go fromParis to the station, and then approximately ten minutes further by car.External links
