Dr. James F. O'Gorman (b. ?) is a leading American architectural historian who taught for many years at
Wellesley College as the Grace Slack McNeil Professor of the History of American Art. He is particularly known for his research and writing on the nineteenth century American architectsHenry Hobson Richardson ,Frank Furness , andHammatt Billings . He has retired from teaching and currently resides inWindham, Maine .O'Gorman was named a Fellow of the
