The Red-banded Fruiteater ("Pipreola whitelyi") is a species of bird in the Cotingidae family. It is restricted to humid highland forest growing on the Tepuis in the southeast of Venezuela and western Guyana. While likely to occur, it remains unconfirmed from adjacent parts of northern Brazil.

Uniquely among the fruiteaters, the males' underparts are primarily grey. As suggested by its common name, the male also has a conspicuous red pectoral collar.
