Efraín Juárez Váldez (born 22 February 1988) is a Mexican football player.

He currently plays as a defender for UNAM Pumas. He joined the Pumas youth system at the age of 13. After winning the 2005 FIFA U-17 World Championship, playing a key role in defense, he was snapped up by FC Barcelona along with national teammate Jorge Hernández in 2006. During the first game of the Mexican national team against Gambia in the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2007, he played as a starting midfielder. Mexico won the match 3-0. Amongst the players of his national team, he's become great friends with Carlos Vela and Giovanni dos Santos.Its rumoured English giants Everton FC are looking to acquire the young player.
