The Creamy-breasted Canastero or Rusty-vented Canastero ("Asthenes dorbignyi") is a species of bird in the Furnariidae family. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland.
There are several subspecies, some of which are sometimes considered to be separate species. The Dark-winged Canastero ("Asthenes (dorbignyi) arequipae") occurs on the western slope of the Andes from Peru south to northern Chile. The Pale-tailed Canastero ("Asthenes (dorbignyi) huancavelicae") is found in the arid intermontane valleys of southern Peru.
