Rasool Nagar

Rasool Nagar is a small CITY situated on the bank of the Chenab River in Pakistan. It is 8 kilometres away from Ali Pur Chatta, and 40 kilometres away from Wazirabad.

Rasool Nagar was also known as Ram Nagar before creation of Pakistan in 1947.

It is a historical place starting its history from Raja Ranjeet Singh(a Sikh emperor) and ended at British rule. Here are gardens built by the Sikh emperor. There are many shrines most notable ones are Baba Ghulab Shah and shrine of Pir Mulak Shah. An annual carnival is held in honor of Baba Ghulab Shah.Rasool nagar is a compact city. Locals are offended when it is called a village. Qadrabad berage is about 7-km from Rasool Nagar. There are many historical buildings located in Rasool Nagar. The honorable Mian Fazal Hussain Tarar plays an important role to keep peace and harmony in this city. Mian Abbid Hussain Tarar is a current elected Nazim of the Union Council.
