Moravia is the name of the 14th canton in the province of San José in Costa Rica. The canton covers an area of 28.62 km²[1], and has a population of 53,273[2]. The capital city of the canton is San Vicente.
The elongated canton begins in the northern suburbs of the national capital city of San José and continues northeast toward the Cordillera Central (Central Mountain Range). The Río Virilla and Río Pará Blanco on the north and west and the Quebrada Azul and Río Macho on the southeast partially delineate the boundaries of the canton.

The canton of Moravia is subdivided into three districts (distritos):[3]
- San Vicente
- San Jerónimo
- La Trinidad
History
The canton was established by law on August 1, 1914.
