Minti is a web platform for parents to share, read, rank and publish their own parenting advice to the world wide web. Parents can develop their support system on Minti, participating in conversations in group blogs, personal blogs, editorial published articles by parents, grandparents, parent consultants, pediatricians and other parents from diverse backgrounds. Minti was the first Web 2.0 niche social network to provide parent generated and ranked advice. Minti is a resource guide for first time parents, parents of children with disabilities, parents dealing with mental illnesses and parents wishing to improve their child raising skills and experience.
Minti was first profiled by Techcrunch in March 2006.[1] Minti placed second to Yahoo! Answers in the Advice category for the Web 2.0 awards 2007.[2] Minti was founded by Rachel Cook.[3]
