Ni, Wei-Tou (Traditional Chinese: 倪維斗) (1944-) is a
Taiwan esephysicist , who graduated from the Department ofPhysics ofNational Taiwan University (NTU), and got his PhD of Physics & Mathematics fromCalifornia Institute of Technology . After his retirement onOct 1 ,2000 , he is now appointed as aprofessor emeritus of the Department of Physics ofNational Tsing Hua University (NTHU) atHsinchu ,Taiwan , since 2006.He is an expert of theoretical and experimental
gravitational physics ,astrophysics ,cosmology ,particle physics , andquantum optics etc. He is famous for his alternative theories of gravitation togeneral relativity , such as Ni (1972), Ni (1973), and Lee, Lightman & Ni (1974). He has been devoted topopular science inTaiwan .References
