Aryan family name from Asia Minor and India reflecting the mastery of a Brahmin over the three Vedas (including the Vedic Branch he was born into). Many scholars opine that just like Brahma's three heads, there are only three vedas and the fourth was added later.Aryan (Brahmin ) name fromSanskrit Trivedi ‘one that knows the threeVedas ’, from tri = ‘three’ + veda ‘(sacred) knowledge’ leading to vedi = 'to see'.The family name is associated with Roman (and, later, Syrian) settlers from the 2nd century A.D. The Trivedi family is believed to be directly decended from the Roman Emperor Titus Flavius Vespasianus, who was exiled in modern-day India.
Today, the living bloodline can be found in the Indian state of Gujarat and in London, UK, where they remain one of the most protected family groups outside and inside of India.
