"Lost Highway" is a song by Bon Jovi, taken from their 2007 album of the same name. It was released in the UK on December 3rd 2007 as the second single from the album, but failed to chart in the top 100. It was written by Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and John Shanks. "Lost Highway" has peaked at #39 on the Canadian Hot 100 and #117 on the UK Charts.

In an interview on a radio station in Chicago it was confirmed by Jon Bon Jovi that "Lost Highway" would be the second single off the new album, and that a new music video would be filmed. The music video was filmed in and around Berwyn, and Lakemoor, Illinois. The video “Lost Highway” premiered worldwide on September 4, 2007. "Lost Highway" is a song about freedom and self expression. In an New York Post interview Jon Bon Jovi claimed, "That song was a gift from God. It was written and recorded in 48 hours. When we got to Nashville, I had that song on my mind".

Live performances

The song has been performed at many promotional events for the band including live on the Today Show, a performance for MTV Unplugged and at the Live Earth concert held in New Jersey.

The band has opened most of the gigs on the Lost Highway Tour with "Lost Highway".

Bon Jovi also played the song at the Royal Variety Performance on December 3rd 2007.
