Ron Hoenig

Ron Hoenig is an Australian Barrister at Law and is the Mayor of the City of Botany Bay. He is a member of the Australian Labor Party. After being elected as a councillor in 1980, he became mayor in 1981 and has held that position continuously since. [cite web

Hoenig is also a practising barrister, and has recently acted as the counsel assisting the inquiry into the case of Dianne Brimble. He has made recommendations that up to three of the persons assisting the inquiry could face prosecution. [cite web
