Hope Logan Forrester is a fictional character in the CBS soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful". She is currently played by child actresses Amanda and Rachel Pace since January 29 2004.

Character history

Hope Logan Forrester is the daughter of Brooke Logan and Deacon Sharpe. She was born July 2 2002 in the Forrester cabin in Big Bear. After the truth about Deacon Sharpe being her real father came out her mother's relationship with her half-sister Bridget Forrester was severely strained because Deacon was married to Bridget. After Deacon left L.A. Brooke married her true love, Ridge Forrester, who had adopted Hope, and when they had a son R.J. Forrester Hope was raised with R.J. and Ridge's children with Taylor Hayes. After Taylor returned from the "dead" Ridge chose to stay with her so Brooke, Hope, and R.J. were kicked out and returned to Brooke's house.

When Taylor confessed to kissing Hector Ramirez and a one-night stand with James Warwick years ago and that his mother and her had kept it from everyone all this time combined with Stephanie faking a heart attack to get Ridge to choose Taylor not Brooke Ridge left Taylor and returned to Brooke and their children but it was short lived when Brooke and Ridge split up.

Brooke then married Ridge's half-brother Dominick Marone and while Hope along with R.J. liked Nick a lot she always thought of Ridge as her father. After Nick slept with Bridget in jealously over Brooke loving Ridge more than him which with blackmailing the Forresters to sell him Forrester Creations caused Brooke to divorce Nick and returned to Ridge. Brooke planned to raise Hope along with R.J. with Ridge but on a business trip to Sydney, Australia Ridge caught his daughter Phoebe in bed with Brooke's son Rick Forrester and hit Rick knocking him to the floor bleeding causing Brooke to call off their wedding scheduled in Beverly Hills in a few days. Brooke attempted to get back with Nick but he had moved on with Ridge's ex-wife Taylor and rejected Brooke and Ridge was devastated. After Brooke was raped by Andy Johnson she was traumatized so one night her aunt, Donna Logan, left too early leaving Hope and R.J. alone. So CPS awarded Ridge temporary custody Hope lived with him. Ridge later filed for permanent custody of her and R.J. but after Ridge learned of Stephanie's scheme Ridge dropped the custody suit and reunited Hope and R.J. with their mother. Ridge's feelings for her resurfaced and he broke off his engagement to Ashley Abbott reuniting with Brooke. Brooke and Ridge are planning to remarry and raise Hope and R.J. together.
