De Nederlandse Courant is a newspaper for Dutch immigrants to Ontario, Canada. It is published by Theo Luykenaar of Burlington, Ontario. It is printed in a tabloid newspaper format and appears biweekly. Circulation is about 3,900.
De Nederlandse Courant relays a selection of Dutch news articles taken from the De Telegraaf newspaper of the Netherlands. Additionally it brings news about institutions catering to the aging population of Dutch-Canadians who immigrated to Ontario in the 1950s and 1960s, such as The Netherlands Luncheon Club, DUCA (Dutch Canadian Credit Union) and the Canada Netherlands Friendship Association.
Canada's oldest Dutch newspaper, De Nederlandse Courant was first published in 1952.
