"Story of the Young Man with the Cream Tarts" is the first story in Robert Louis Stevenson's "The Suicide Club" cycle. First published in London Magazine in 1878 it was republished in the first volume of The New Arabian Nights.

Plot Introduction

This is a 19th century detective fiction short story set in the gas-lit streets of Victorian London where the main character, Prince Florizel of Bohemia, and his loyal companion, Major Geraldine, roam in search of adventure.
