Victoria (Vicky) Galindo (born
December 22 ,1983 ) is an American athlete on the USASoftball Women's National Team where she plays third base and second base. She also plays for the Chicago Bandits of the National Pro Fastpitch league (NPF). She played for theUniversity of California, Berkeley Golden Bears from 2003-2005 and was an undergrad assistant in 2006. Galindo was on the US national team from 2005-2007. She was also the assistant coach for the San Jose State in 2007. Before her time at Cal, Galindo played for West Valley Junior College for the 2002 season. She went to high school at James Logan High School inUnion City, California where she graduated in 2001. Galindo started playing at age 4 when her dad coached her brother's baseball team. There was an extra jersey and he told her to go play.James Logan High School

* She played third base for Cal and for the US National team in 2005, but got moved to second base when Andrea Duran made the team in 2006.
* She currently splits time at second base with Lovie Jung.
* Will make an occasional start as the Designated Player which is rare for someone who is not a pure power hitter
* Although known for batting first in the batting order, she has also hit second, ninth, and seventh for the US National team due to the plethora of speed on the team.
* Galindo is also known for her distinct footwork in the batters box that allows her to bunt and slap.
