Connecticut , grew up in Seattle, and currently lives inCalifornia . In 2005 he graduated from theGallatin School atNew York University . In 2006 he released "Tommy Wallach," an album comprising ten original songs and a cover of theThe Beatles ' "Maxwell's Silver Hammer ."In January 2007 Wallach began a popular series of webcast performances of original songs and covers of songs by such artists as
Ben Folds Five ,White Town , andThe Magnetic Fields . He has continued to frequently produce the webcast and was recently invited to record a video diary of the NAMM Show, the largest music product trade show in the world.In May 2008 Wallach won an online contest entitled "First Tracks: The Search for America's Best Musical Talent", co-sponsored by Decca Records and Gather.com. He recorded a 4-song EP for Decca in June 2008 which will be released in July 2008.
