Port of Helsinki

Port of Helsinki (Helsingin Satama in Finnish) is a company owned by the city of Helsinki, Finland, overseeing the harbours of Helsinki. It is controlled by the Harbour Board.

Harbours

The Port of Helsinki oversees four harbours:
* Eteläsatama (Southern Harbour): passenger traffic
* Länsisatama (Western Harbour): passenger and cargo traffic
* Sörnäinen Harbour: cargo traffic
* Vuosaari Harbour: to be completed in 2008

Harbour Board

The members of the Harbour Board from 2005 to 2008 are:
* Timo Jaatinen (National Coalition), chairman
* Kalle Kallio (Social Democratics), deputy chairman
* Tuovi Allén (Soc.Dem.)
* Esko Riihelä (Coal.)
* Milla Wiksten (Coal.)
* Johanna Hautakorpi (Green League)
* Jari Kallioniemi (Greens)
* Göran Åhman (Swedish National Party)
* Jukka Lindeman, representing the city council
