As of 2008, the line has nine flash drives. All except the Micro Skin and the Gator feature a retractable
USB A-type plug, and those drives have a cap. Some of the drives are U3 Smart Drive, which means they haveU3 pre-installed. U3 emulates a Windows launchpad on the drive and allows U3 programs to run.U3 Smart Drives
Several of the flash drives have U3 preinstalled. These include the SanDisk Extreme Cruzer Contour, which is the flagship product, the SanDisk Ultra Cruzer Titanium, which has a tough case, and the Micro, which is the smallest drive.
Others include the Pattern, marketed to fashionable people, the SanDisk Ultra Cruzer Titanium Plus which has an extra tough case, the Micro Skin, which has different skins, the SanDisk Extreme Ducati, which is extra fast, the Crossfire, designed for gamers, Tag and Snap, targeted for students ( although only available in Europe) and the Gator, also marketed to fashionable people.
Previous products
Products produced in the past but no longer produced include the U3 smart drives Titanium, although the non-U3 smart drives Titanium are produced, capable of withstanding 2,000 pounds (907 kilograms) of pressure.
Other products produced in the past include the Fleur, marketed at women, the Freedom, designed for students, and the Profile, which features a biometric fingerprint scanner to enhance security.
