Population centres
As one of the South Island's largest electorates, the Kaikoura electorate spans the North-east of the island from Cook Strait to the Ashley River in the south. Its main towns are Blenheim and Kaikoura; other towns include Picton, HavelockCheviot, Hanmer Springs, Culverdon, Amberley and Ashley.
