Pasan Ko Ang Daigdig (Filipino: "The World is On My Shoulders") is a Philippine drama that airs on GMA Network. This is the fourth instalment of Sine Novela. The original movie was released back in 1987.

Plot

Lupe is born into poverty but her dreams are for a better life. She cares for her crippled mother who is also her harshest critic. Poor, crippled persons normally engender feelings of pity, but Lupe's mother adds to the burden and is the metaphor that represents the title of the movie -- Lupe carries her mother on her shoulders as she begs for alms. Lupe tries to make her mother see that there is still hope in life if she would just have the strength to believe in her own daughter.

*This is another series for the JC-Yasmien loveteam, who just concluded their Pati Ba Pintig ng Puso.
*It was rumored that lead roles were initially set up for Jennylyn Mercado and Mark Herras, but due to health reason, Jennylyn was replaced. However,GMA7 released statement stating that on the contrary, they never promised this soap for Jennylyn and that Yasmien is the first choice .
