History
Chassis Plans was founded in 1997 by David Lippincott as a spin off of
Industrial Computer Source to provide engineered solutions to customers purchasing industrial computer systems from a variety of sources. The business model was to design and publish Manufacturing Documentation Packages allowing customers to use local shops to have their systems fabricated and assembled.Customers desired turn key systems leading the Chassis Plans changing the business model to providing turnkey system design and fabrication to customers in the military, industrial and commercial markets.
