Isabell Werth

Isabell Werth (born July 21, 1969 in Rheinberg) is a German equestrian and world champion in dressage.

Championships

Werth has competed in the Olympics three times in 1992, 1996 and 2000. In those three games she won six medals, four of them gold. She is competing again in the 2008 Summer Olympics. Werth has also won seven Dressage World Championship medals, six of them gold. At the 2008 Olympics she won the team championship together with her colleagues Heike Kemmer and Nadine Capellmann she has her own saddle line and an advertising deal with Horseland, an Australian Equestrian chain

Horses

Werth rode Gigolo for all her championships between 1992 and 2000. She currently rides two horses on the highest level: Warum Nicht and Satchmo. She competed at the Olympic Games with Satchmo.
