Peer review failure

Peer review failure occurs when peer-review of articles in scientific journals fails to eliminate incorrect or fraudulent work. Peer review failures occur when a peer-reviewed article contains obvious fundamental errors that undermines at least one of its main conclusions.Fact|date=July 2007 Peer review is not considered a failure in cases of deliberate fraud by authors.Fact|date=July 2007
