Kelly K. She left with a staff member of the bar who said that he later passed her off to a man claiming to be a friend of hers. The following morning she was reported missing. A body believed to be Nolan was found on Monday July 9, 2007, in the Town of Dunn, about 11 miles south of Madison. Due to the decomposition of the body, a forensics team was brought in to verify whether or not this was actually the body of Nolan or another missing resident of Dane County. On Tuesday July 10, 2007, the Dane County coroner confirmed that the body found was that of Kelly Nolan. Due to the nature of Nolan's death, Joel DeSpain, spokesman for the Madison Police Department, has announced that the death is now being treated as a homicide, and that there are no suspects at this time.

The Nolan family has offered a $10,000.00 reward for information leading to the conviction of the person responsible for this crime.
