Oliverio Jesús Alvarez González, aka Oli (born April 2, 1972 in Oviedo, Asturias), is a former Spanish footballer, who played in the striker position. He was known for his flair and netting ability, and is currently the manager of UD Marbella.

Club career

During his career, Oli played for hometown Real Oviedo (two stints, scoring 40 goals in 111 first division outings, 20 of which were scored in his final season), Real Betis (with 19 league goals in three seasons, forming a formidable offensive partnership with Alfonso) and Cádiz CF (contributing with 10 goals in 40 games for Cádiz's promotion to the first division in 2004-05, although he only netted once in the following season, with the Andalusia side being relegated).

Moving into coaching in 2006, Oli started precisely with Cádiz, but was dismissed after only a few games in charge, as the team failed to regain a top flight spot. International career

Oli gained two caps for Spain during the 1998 World Cup qualifiers, against Slovakia and Faroe Islands, netting in the latter in a 3-1 win, in Gijón.
