HMS Fortitude (1780)

HMS "Fortitude" was a 74-gun third rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, launched on 23 March 1780 at Rotherhithe.

"Fortitude" fought in the Battle of Dogger Bank as Vice Admiral Hyde Parker's flagship.

She served as a prison ship from 1795, and was broken up in 1820.
