Lenoxx Electronics Corporation is a United States distributor of electronic equipment.

The brand appeared in the late 1980s as a transportable stereo (boombox) model.

Products from this company bear more than one brand. Common examples are "Durabrand" (Sold by Wal-Mart since early 2003), and "Audio Solutions" (sold by Walgreens). They also sell with their own name "Lenoxx Sound". Market position is at the low end with products rarely over $80. The company's products are often sold at discount and drug stores, but rarely in other markets.

Portable CD Players

Lenoxx Sound, Durabrand, and Audio Solutions portable CD players are not known for quality; however, the prices of the company's products may be considered "loss leaders". The sound in Anti-Skip models are a meaty 20mW with a non-harsh characteristic. The design quality ranges from pleasing to cheap looking. The newer models are more pleasing to the eye and constructed better than the models in 1997, but most are bulkier and heavier than similarly-priced competitors such as Coby Electronics, jWin, among others. The Electronic Skip Protection system throughout has some noticeable compression artifacts, but has been proven to be better when using gold-plated-plug headphones instead of the silver-plugged headphones that come with the CD player. However, the CD players sold by Lenoxx/Durabrand/Audio Solutions are around 40% cheaper than other major brands.

Most other products sold by Lenoxx and Durabrand, however, are known for quality at a low price.

*The current prices range (on the retail market) from US$ 7 to US$ 45 for items such as CD players.
