Binary vector

Used to generate transgenic plants, binary vectors are cloning vectors which are able to replicate in both "E. coli" and "Agrobacterium tumefaciens", which are bacteria that are often used in biotechnology. There are several binary vector systems that differ mainly in the plasmid region that facilitates replication in "Agrobacterium". Commonly used binary vectors include:

*pGreen
