Pavilion Insurance was a Coventry based marketing company offering insurance solutions through the internet, powered by its own internally developed software.

History

The company was founded in 1997 by Chairman and CEO, Andrew Selby. The first product was launched in the year of the Company’s inception under the Musicguard brand. Following this, various products were developed, including Cycleguard in late 1998, an insurance solution for cyclists and Photoguard in 1999, an insurance solution for photographers.

Pavilion was first listed on London’s Alternative Investment Market on 17th June 2004. The Company was acquired by Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group in May 2007.

Products

Pavilion offered insurance products for anglers, golfers, DJs, orchestra members, mobile phone users, laptop owners, photographers and owners of art and art collections.
