Luminato

Luminato is an annual city-wide festival held each June in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Also known as Toronto's Festival of Arts and Creativity, it showcases multidisciplinary artistic celebration including theatre, dance, classical and contemporary music, visual arts, film, literature, food, and fashion. Each year, the Festival features highly acclaimed world premieres, exciting new works, and unexpected collaborations across genres and cultures.

Founded by Tony Gagliano and David Pecaut, the inaugural Festival, which ran from June 1 through 10, 2007, attracted more than one million participants to more than 100 events.
