The Incredible Jewel Robbery

The Incredible Jewel Robbery

"The Incredible Jewel Robbery" was a 30 minute TV special broadcast by CBS on 8 March 1959. It was the last television appearance together of the three Marx Brothers. Harpo and Chico plot to pull off a jewel heist in a totally wordless twenty minute sequence. Then, Groucho makes a sudden entrance and says, "We aren't talking until we see our lawyer." Everybody gives each other their leg, and the "You Bet Your Life" duck drops down with "The End" in its beak.

CBS explained the show: "If you watch the show you'll see a familiar face equipped with mustache and leer. Because of his contract terms, his name can't be mentioned, but he is not Jerry Colonna."
