St.Francis School

St. Francis School is a private non-denominational school in Austin, Texas. It serves grades PK-8 and has over 300 students. Although the school is non-denominational they have a chapel on Friday mornings that features the teachings of St. Francis and his love for animals.

The school is located in East North Central Austin in the Highland neighborhood off of I-35. It is in a former office building and owns a gym, computer and art center, soccer field, and playground separate from the main school building. The school athletics program is grades 5-8 and includes Track, Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, and most recently flag football. The school participates in an academic competition called PSIA (Private School Interscholastic Association). The head of school is Barbra Porter and the school has received honorable mention from the Austin-American Statesman.
