The Buckhorn Trail, Theodore Roosevelt National Park

The Buckhorn Trail is an 11-mile loop in the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The trail begins and ends in a parking lot directly across from the North Unit Campground. Permits are available for backcountry camping upon arrival—free of charge—though the trail is easy enough that it can be done as a long day hike.
