Vourinos (Greek: Βούρινος) is a mountain range covering the eastern Grevena and southern Kozani prefectures in Greece. Its peaks stand over 1,866 m.

The GR-20 (GR-20 (Kozani - Konitsa - Ioannina) is to the north and the Aliakmon river to the southeast. Its length is approximately 25 to 30 km from northwest to southeast and its width is approximately 20 to 25 km from southwest ot northeast. Since the mid-2000s, the Via Egnatia (Igoumenitsa - Thessaloniki - Alexandroupoli) runs to the northwest and features several tunnels and some interchanges, it was first constructed in 1999

Information

Forests dominate the low lying areas of the mountain and contains pine and spruce trees, the valley areas, grasslands, bushes and unvegetated portions dominate the higher elevations. The area around the mountain contains villages and forest roads as well as hiking trails, several roads do not connect both sides of the mountain range..

Panorama

Its panorama includes the northern Pindus mountains including Chasia, Lygkos, Tymfi, Smolikas and Grammos, the Askio to the north, the valley to the east, the Vermio to the east and Mount Olympus to the southeast. The Aegean Sea cannot be seen. It also offers the view of Aliakmon Reservoir.
