Alex "Suavez" Suarez, known as Cougar Suarez, is the electric bass player for the band
Cobra Starship .
Biography
He was born Alejandro Francisco Suarez Virta Marquin Merceda on April 6th, 1981 in Stamford, CT. Alex is currently 27 years old. When he was younger, he waited tables at Mr. Deli's Jewish Delicatessen in
Boca Raton ,Florida . [http://www.thisisivyleague.com/bio.php] He then pursued a career in theculinary arts as well as playing guitar in screamo band, Kite Flying Society. After 7 years he formed the band "This Is Ivy League" with high-school friendRyland Blackinton . Currently, both are touring in the bandCobra Starship , who headlined "The Really Really Ridiculously Good Looking Tour" withMetro Station ,We The Kings andThe Cab . Cobra Starship is currently touring withPanic At The Disco on their headlining tour inAustralia , along with band,The Academy Is... Suarez is known for hisChanel bass guitar, but also uses aFender jazz bass guitar.Alex's first instrument was the "recorder" in the 3rd grade, then he learned clarinet (can no longer play) trumpet (can still play) and then guitar, which goes along with bass then drums and a little bit.
He has two cats. Their names are Indiana Jones and Jecky.
