Aggelos (Evangelos) Koronios (in Greek: Άγγελος (Ευάγγελος) Κορωνιός; born
March 16 ,1969 inAthens ) is a Greek professionalbasketball coach and retired player. A 1.85m playmaker, Koronios started his career withPeristeri BC in 1982. In 1998, he moved toAEK Athens BC where he played for two seasons. Then he continued his career inPAOK BC (2000-01),Maroussi BC for two seasons (2001-03), Panionios BC (2003-04) and finallyOlympiacos BC (2004-05).Coaching career
In 2005-06 Koronios started his coaching career as a head coach in Alimos. The next year (2006-07) he was coaching
Sporting BC , and won the Greek A2 Championship.In the summer of 2007, he was appointed as the new AEK Athens coach, but he decided to resign "for personal reasons" on

* He has played in the Greek All Star Games of 1994, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2004.
* He has won the three-point shoot-out in the 1997 & 2004 All Star Games.
