David Strang is the Chief Constable of the Lothian and Borders Police Force. He is the successor of Paddy Tomkins. In August 2001 he was appointed Chief Constable of Dumfries and Galloway Police.
He was appointed Chief Constable of Lothian and Borders Police in 29 March 2007. He was a member of the Scottish Prisons Commission.[1]
