Rocco Napolitano

Rocco Napolitano

Rocco Napolitano a.k.a. ""Remo" a.k.a. "Rocky" (b. Greenpoint, Brooklyn) is a Gambino crime family mob associate.

Biography

Rocco Napolitano was one of the three sons fathered by the powerful Brooklyn, New York capo Dominick Napolitano. Rocco adopted the nickname "Remo" which is an old Italian abbreviation of the name. Dominick was not close to his sons, but took care of them financially and their mother constantly. Joseph Pistone would later say that he cared more for his prized messenger pigeons than his three sons. Their father was also a notorious womanizer who cheated on their mother. In 1981 it was discovered that Joseph Pistone, a FBI Special Agent had infiltrated the Williamsburg, Brooklyn street crew of his father, Dominick. It was considered bad blood lineage by fellow mobsters. His father was subsequently executed following the investigation into the Bonanno crime family that year.
