14 January 1972 inDuddingston ,Edinburgh ) is a Scottish television presenter, who presented the children's programme "Blue Peter " from1 March 1996 until20 February 1998 ; she got the job after a chance meeting its then-editor, Lewis Bronze, at theEdinburgh Television Festival .During her two years on "Blue Peter", one of D'Annunzio's most memorable moments was a
wing walking assignment. She also went on two 'Summer Expeditions', toHong Kong andCanada .Romana presented with
Tim Vincent ,Stuart Miles ,Katy Hill , Richard Bacon andKonnie Huq .After leaving "Blue Peter", D'Annunzio decided to concentrate on her stage acting career. However, she did return to television for a small role as a 'female clubber' in the
Channel 4 drama "The Young Person's Guide To Becoming A Rock Star ".In 2005, D'Annunzio took part in the
Channel 4 programme "When Blue Peter Became ABBA"; at the time of filming, she was a full-time degree-level student. From 2004, D'Annunzio studied English at university and, for the third year of her degree, spent eight months as an English language assistant inRome , supported by theBritish Council .
