Eric Himelfarb is a professional ice hockey player for EHC Biel-Bienne of the National League A in Switzerland. Born January 1, 1983 in Thornhill, Ontario, Himelfarb was 171st overall pick of the Montreal Canadiens in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft [http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php3?pid=50240] . Himelfarb signed as a free agent with the Detroit Red Wings on March 30, 2004 and was assigned to the Griffins, their AHL affiliate [http://griffinshockey.com/team/roster/index.html?player_id=19] .
