Rosemere High School

Rosemere High School is a public high school located in the town of Rosemere, Quebec, Canada. It is housed in a two story structure with enrollment of about 1,300 students (2006-2007).

Rosemere High School [Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board] offers a nurturing and safe environment for students to achieve an excellent education, which prepares them for CEGEP/university as well as for life skills in any vocation. Their learning should encompass both academic and personal growth.

A diversified curriculum forms the basis for a holistic and individualized education whether in high, regular or alternative needs streams. Scholarship, leadership and communication skills are integrated in every course and activity.

Values education across the curriculum underpins the school's fundamental orientation. The student, free from physical or verbal harassment, can develop a personal attitude of respect wherein he/she strives for excellence. Hard work and acceptance of responsibility and accountability for learning and behaviour, both social and personal, can evoke within the student a sense of pride in himself /herself and others, as well as respect for self, for peers, for adults, and, most importantly, for the differences.

chedule Change for 08-09

The 6 day, 6 period schedule will be changed to a 9 day, 4 period (plus lunch). Juniors (grades 7 and 8, or secondary 1 and 2), and seniors (grades 9, 10, 11, or secondary 3, 4 and 5) will have the same lunch period.
