Fabio Fognini (born May 24, 1987 in Sanremo) is a professional tennis player from Italy.

Career

Fognini is 6-11 and 0–2 on non-Challenger ATP tour matches, however has made the finals of three singles tournament and one doubles tournament on the ATP Challenger tour. As of and on April 21, 2008, Fognini has reached World Number 66, his highest singles ranking. Fognini weighs 163 pounds and is 5 feet 10 inches tall. He currently resides in Arma di Taggia, Italy. The right-hander qualified for and lost in the first round of the French Open in 2007 and lost in five sets to Juan Monaco, 6–3, 6–2, 1–6, 2–6, 4–6. As shown on ESPN2, Fognini had a great run at the 2007 Rogers Masters in Montreal, Canada. He managed to qualify, beating Santiago Giraldo of Colombia 7–6, 5–7, 6–4. Fobio is currently dating an 18 year old American named Julia. They met at the Countrywide Classic at UCLA this past July.
