Peter Luczak (born August 31, 1979 in Warsaw, Poland) is an Australian professional tennis player.

He turned professional in 2000 after playing NCAA college tennis in the United States at Fresno State University, where he holds the school record for most career singles wins. He has had a relatively average ATP Tour career, with his best performance coming in the 2006 Australian Open, where he defeated Olivier Rochus, the tournament's 24th seed, to progress to the third round. He also reached the semi-finals beating Fernando Gonzalez at the Brasil Open in 2005. He reached his highest career singles ranking of No. 69 in March 2008.

2007 Season and Davis Cup

In February 2007, Luczak played Davis Cup for the Australia Davis Cup team against Belgium, and then chosen once more against Serbia where he lost to world number 3 Novak Đoković.

Luczak has made it known the most important thing to him in tennis is playing for Australia in Davis Cup. Luczak began his 2007 season with a win over world number 22 Dominik Hrbatý in Adelaide however was defeated by American Paul Goldstein in his second match of the round-robin style tournament. Luczak has had a successful career on the challenger events, particularly on clay. To date, he has won eight challenger tournaments.

2008 Season

Luczak began his 2008 season with representing Australia in the Hopman Cup and went 1–2 win loss. Not able to win a match in Sydney Luczak was able to win his first round at the 2008 Australian Open, after skipping Davis Cup duties Luczak won his second ATP match of the year in Brazil.

Personal

Luczak Attended the High School Mazenod College from 1995-2000. He is married to Swedish born nobility Anna Catarina Ericsdotter Queckfeldt, grand daughter of famous Swedish Olympic bronze medalist dressage rider, Countess Maud von Rosen. Together they have a son, Sebastian Oliver Luczak, born in Sweden on 4 June 2006. They live in Helsingborg, Sweden, for most of the year, although go to Australia over the winter.
