The Brighton Central School District is a public school district in New York State that serves approximately 3700 students in the town of Brighton and portions of Pittsford and Rochester in Monroe County with over 600 employees and an operating budget of $53 million (~$14,676 per student).[2007 Facts & Figures booklet, Monroe County School Boards Association [http://www.mcsba.org MCSBA] ] ]The average class size is 21 students and the student-teacher ratio is 12:1 (elementary), 11:1 (middle-high school).

Board of Education
