New Orleans SaintsPlaying stats at NFL.com Don Larry Talbert (born March 1, 1939 in Louisville, Mississippi) is a former American football offensive tackle in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons, and the New Orleans Saints. He played college football at the University of Texas at Austin and was drafted in the eighth round of the 1961 NFL Draft. Talbert was also selected in the 34th round of the 1962 AFL Draft by the Houston Oilers.
His younger brother Diron Talbert also played in the NFL.[1] Prior to attending the University of Texas, both of the Talbert brothers were high school linemen at Texas City High School in Texas City, Texas.
