Alexander Campbell (October 4, 1814-August 8, 1889) was a member of the US House of Representatives.

Cambell was born in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. A former ironworker, he became wealthy managing mines and steel mills. He served as mayor of LaSalle, Illinois and in the Illinois House of Representatives before entering the US House. He was a delegate to the 1862 Illinois Constitutional Convention.

He served one term as an independent. His term in congress lasted from 1875-1877.
